Name: 3-Day Virtual Music Workshop
Date: Monday, June 14, 2021 @ 1:00pm-2:15pm
Wednesday, June 16, 2021 @ 1:00pm-2:15pm
Sunday, June 20, 2021 @ 4:00pm-5:15pm
Location: Virtual via Zoom
Cost: $10 Registration Fee (The Non-refundable Fee covers all 3 sessions)
Event Description: If you want to take your music to the next level, beginner to Middle school, to High school, to college to pro, you can't afford to miss these virtual master classes. It is important to attend, virtually, all three classes. The first master class will focus on a review of music basics, time signatures, key signatures, intervals, scales ect. After session one you will be able to identify all key signatures, major and minor, and learn what is meant by the cycle of fourths and fifths. YES, IT IS POSSIBLE TO RETAIN ALL OF THIS IN ONE HOUR. We will use word association and visualization to accomplish this. This method has worked with students as young as 6 yrs old, but most band, or music, students don't learn know these things.
Know matter what your music level is, you will understand music better and enjoy and hear, like never before.
Session two will focus on rhythms, tradition versus swing, and improvisation, jazz thru soloing over chord changes, and what is a cadensa and how to form a cadensa.
Session three will be fun! I WILL ALSO HAVE MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STATE JAZZ BAND MUSIC.

MUSIC IS ONLY ANOTHER WAY OF COMMUNICATION.
