Kat Files & Royce Files, co-founders of The F.I.L.E.S. Arts Project (TFAP), will perform on the Alabama School of Fine Arts (ASFA) Department of Dance Fall Repertory at The Dorothy Jemison Day Theater. The performances will be held, Friday-Saturday, November 9-10, 2018 at 7pm and Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:30pm. Tickets are $10 or $5 for students. Kat Files, an ASFA dance alum, graduate of Fordham University/The Ailey School has been joined by her brother, Royce Files, a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate in Saxophone at The University of Southern California (USC). Royce will perform Caprice en forme de Valse (Paul Bonneau 1918-1995) with Kat performing dance work titled "Interplay," by noted choreographer Germaul Barnes. The piece was most recently performed on Royce Files’, Doctor of Musical Arts Recital, in Newman Recital Hall at USC.
