Dr. Faith Caldwell, originally from Birmingham, AL, has had a deep passion for dance since the age of 3. Growing up in Birmingham, she began her dance journey at age 5, studying at local studios and later continuing her education at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, where she is an alumna. There, she trained in ballet, modern techniques such as Horton and Limon, Jazz, and West African dance. Faith also attended summer intensives and festivals including the Alabama Dance Festival, Regional High School Dance Festival, and the Bates Dance Festival Summer Intensive in Maine. She is an alumna of Alabama School of Fine Arts, where her primary focus was dance.

Faith went on to study at Life University, where she earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Her caring heart and love for God inspire everything she does, and she is deeply committed to serving others through her work. In her free time, Faith enjoys dancing, attending music festivals, and entertaining friends with karaoke.

Alexandria Fuller was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Alex started dancing at a young age. She was the first Birmingham native to dance the principal role of Claire in The Chocolate Nutcracker created by Laverne Reed. She attended and graduated Alabama School of Fine Arts. She then went on to attend Troy University with a concentration in Business Management and a Minor in Dance. There she participated in Sound of the South Band Dance Line and created her own class on campus “Strut in Stilettos.” Since, Alex has been an instructor at numerous studios teaching ballet, jazz, contemporary, and heels.

She performs with numerous local artists and had the pleasure of opening up for T.I. with Logan the Entertainer at the Magic City Classic 2023. Alex started her own business called The Fuller Dance Experience teaching and mentoring kids ages 2-19. Currently, she is one of the directors for The Mesmerizing Sirenz of Birmingham competition team, an HBCU based dance team shaping young kids to prepare them for collegiate level dance programs. Alex is currently performing as an ensemble member in Red Mountain Theatre’s production of Frozen. This marks her second production with the company, following her debut in The Donna Summer Musical.
Alex, aside from now being a mom to her wonderful son Isaiah, enjoys stepping into the world of acting and pole fitness. She has had the pleasure of going to Tyler Perry Studios to do background work for the hit series "All the Queen’s Men" and Tyler Perry’s "Zatima."
Alex is no stranger to TFAP. She began her journey as an assistant to Founder and Executive Director Kat Files during the organization’s early days, later served as a Teaching Artist for the Summer Workshops, and now proudly contributes as a Rehearsal Director.

Jasmine Knight, hailing from Birmingham, AL, Jasmine Knight brings over a decade of dedicated work in dance, education, and arts leadership—now at the heart of The F.I.L.E.S. Arts Project. A proud graduate of the Alabama School of Fine Arts (ASFA) and Howard University, Jasmine’s foundation in both technical training and academic excellence continues to shape her multifaceted approach to the arts.She originally joined TFAP as a passionate Teaching Assistant and Teaching Artist in our summer workshops, inspiring movement and artistic exploration in young creatives. Jasmine has since grown into a leadership role and now serves as the Rehearsal Director for TFAP.

With an MBA in hand, Jasmine blends her artistic vision with strategic insight—helping curate immersive, polished dance experiences from initial choreography through to final performance. Her insider’s understanding of TFAP’s mission enables her to guide participants with clarity, enthusiasm, and compassion.
Before joining TFAP, Jasmine worked extensively in Birmingham’s arts community—mentoring emerging artists, staging local dance events, and strengthening networks of collaboration. Her unwavering commitment to creative development and her gift for building community make her an ideal leader for TFAP’s dynamic summer and year‑round programs.
Whether she’s coaching dancers on Horton technique, planning rehearsal logistics, or building bridges between artists in underserved areas, Jasmine brings grace, energy, and purpose to every step of the process. We’re delighted to have her guide our dancers as we prepare for our next showcase and beyond!
